Open a new era of flexible ceramic manufacturing with Dongpeng Ceramics
3D printing technology has been praised as a technology that will disrupt traditional manufacturing in the future. Currently, 3D printing technology has advantages that traditional ceramic manufacturing does not have, such as reducing processes and lowering costs. Traditional ceramic companies are very interested in how to use 3D printing in their own enterprises to increase profits and reduce costs. Recently, Beijing Shiwai Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dongpeng Ceramics. Both parties will jointly explore the application of additive manufacturing and flexible manufacturing of ceramic 3D printing in the ceramic market. As Dongpeng's chairman He Xinming said before: "Innovation is in Dongpeng's genes, and being the first to dare is what Dongpeng relies on."

Ten Dimensions Technology and Dongpeng Ceramics jointly open a new era of flexible ceramic manufacturing
Recently, Beijing Shiwai Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dongpeng Ceramics, and both parties will jointly explore the application of additive manufacturing ceramic 3D printing flexible manufacturing in the ceramic market. As Dongpeng's chairman He Xinming previously stated: "Innovation is the gene of Dongpeng, and being the first to dare is the core competitiveness that Dongpeng relies on for development and growth. Only through continuous innovation can we inject vitality into the brand; only through continuous innovation can Chinese ceramics earn respect in the world." As a partner, Beijing Shiwai Technology has recently delivered the ceramic 3D printer AUTOCERA-M to Dongpeng Group for use in research projects. On-site, engineers from Beijing Shiwai Technology guided Dongpeng Ceramics staff on how to use and operate the equipment. Beijing Shiwai Technology is the first in the country to commercialize high-performance ceramic light-curing 3D printing solutions, achieving high-precision advanced ceramic 3D printing that addresses the difficulties and pain points of traditional processing. This strategic cooperation with Dongpeng Ceramics will bring new inspiration to the entire ceramic industry.
Tsinghua University establishes ceramic 3D printing engineering training
Ceramic 3D printing, as an emerging technology in the additive manufacturing industry, is beginning to play an increasingly important role in fields such as investment casting, orthopedics, dentistry, chemical engineering, and art. The cultivation of talent in additive manufacturing has gradually become a demand in the industry. The Tsinghua ICENTER training center embodies Tsinghua University's refined teaching philosophy, transforming internships into engineering training, and shifting the training model from focusing on learning skills and changing students' mindset to a model that integrates knowledge, ability, quality, and innovative practice. It has distilled the engineering training teaching philosophy of 'imparting manufacturing engineering knowledge, cultivating engineering practical abilities, experiencing engineering culture, and further fostering innovative thinking and comprehensive quality,' and is further building a teaching system that integrates engineering training, innovation and entrepreneurship training, and engineering cultural quality training. Recently, with the support of Beijing Shiwai Technology, the Tsinghua University training center ICENTER has launched engineering training in ceramic 3D printing, particularly in the application of casting. Students learn the principles and characteristics of the latest ceramic 3D printing technology based on an understanding of traditional processes, as well as how ceramic 3D printing changes traditional craftsmanship, cultivating their ability to use new technologies to solve problems. Through practical operations, they understand which processes ceramic 3D printing applies to, what key points it has, and how it can help solve problems in traditional investment casting, enhancing students' curiosity about technology and stimulating their desire to learn. At the same time, in students' innovation and entrepreneurship activities, the advantages of rapid manufacturing technology can be leveraged. To enable the teachers at Tsinghua ICENTER to better use the equipment for teaching, Beijing Shiwai Technology sent engineers to provide on-site training and guidance on how to use the AUTOCERA-M ceramic 3D printing equipment. As an alumni enterprise of Tsinghua, Beijing Shiwai Technology feels very honored to collaborate with the ICENTER engineering training center and give back to the alma mater in its area of expertise. In the future, we will continue to work hard to realize our dream: Shiwai Technology, changing the world with high-performance products!

Congratulations to Shiwai Technology, Dazhou Intelligent Manufacturing, and Changwei Design for forming a team and winning the second prize in the 2018 Third China 3D Printing Creative Design Competition.
From September 6 to 8, the 2018 Third China 3D Printing Creative Design Competition concluded in Xi'an, jointly organized by the National Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center, the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the China Innovation Design Industry Strategic Alliance, and the Xi'an National Research Institute of Additive Manufacturing, along with various industry research institutions and well-known enterprises. This competition mainly focused on creativity and innovation within the entire additive manufacturing industry. Since its inception in 2015, the China 3D Creative Design Competition has reached its third edition, with significant improvements in the number of participating teams, coverage areas, and the innovativeness of the entries each year. A team formed by Shiwai Technology, Dazhou Intelligent Manufacturing, and Changwei Design participated for the first time and won the second prize in the competition. The entry from this joint team is titled 'Xianglian - 3D Printed Ceramic Pendant', which is indeed the lotus root-shaped pendant worn by the young lady in the image above. This pendant is a beautifully crafted ceramic jewelry piece with a complex structure, designed in the shape of a lotus root, divided into three segments, with the length of each segment increasing from top to bottom. The body of the lotus root is designed like a fish basket, with a smooth white finish and a warm, jade-like luster. This piece was printed using the AUTOCERA-M ceramic 3D printer from Shiwai Technology, combining aesthetic appeal with high-tech connotations, making it a perfect match! At the competition venue, the work 'Xianglian - 3D Printed Ceramic Pendant' received high praise and attention from expert judges and fellow participants, with rounds of applause echoing throughout the event. This joint team, formed by Shiwai Technology, Dazhou Intelligent Manufacturing, and Changwei Design, achieved recognition from the judges and fellow participants through their meticulously prepared entry, seamless collaboration, and impressive presentation, ultimately winning the second prize.
