From September 6 to 8, the 2018 Third China 3D Printing Creative Design Competition concluded in Xi'an, jointly organized by the National Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center, the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the China Innovation Design Industry Strategic Alliance, and the Xi'an National Research Institute of Additive Manufacturing, along with various industry research institutions and well-known enterprises. This competition mainly focused on creativity and innovation within the entire additive manufacturing industry. Since 2015, the China 3D Creative Design Competition has reached its third edition, with significant improvements in the number of participating teams, coverage areas, and the innovation of the entries each year.

The team formed by Shiwai Technology, Dazhou Intelligent Manufacturing, and Changwei Design participated for the first time and won the second prize in the competition.

The name of the entry from the joint team is "Xianglian - 3D Printed Ceramic Pendant". Yes, it is the lotus root-shaped pendant worn by the young lady in the picture above. This pendant is a beautifully crafted ceramic jewelry piece with a complex structure, shaped like a lotus root, divided into three segments, with the length of each segment increasing from top to bottom. The body of the lotus root is designed like a fish basket, with a smooth white finish and a warm, jade-like luster.

This piece was printed using the AUTOCERA-M ceramic 3D printer from Shiwai Technology. It not only possesses aesthetic appeal but also imbues the pendant with high-tech connotations, making it a perfect match! At the competition site, the work "Xianglian - 3D Printed Ceramic Pendant" received high praise and attention from expert judges and fellow participants, with applause ringing out multiple times.

In this competition, the joint team formed by Shiwai Technology, Dazhou Intelligent Manufacturing, and Changwei Design achieved recognition from the expert judges and fellow participants through their meticulously prepared entry, seamless cooperation, and excellent presentation, ultimately winning the second prize.
